Osteoforensics utilizes MoodleCloud as its Learning Management System provider. While MoodleCloud is the data processor, Osteoforensics maintains a Data Minimizing Policy.
Osteoforensics shall not use any data collected through the Program to engage in targeted advertising on the Program’s site or any other website, service, or application.
No student profiles shall be created or maintained for any purpose other than the specific educational purpose of the Introduction to Forensic Anthropology course.
For a school-approved ELO/PBGR/Credit Flexibility//Credit for Proficiency/Flexible Pathway/CRLE, Osteoforensics' role is limited to providing assessment data for anonymous aliases to the student’s home school for the purpose of awarding credit.
This Program requires anonymous enrolment. For high school students or minors, a parent or legal guardian must register using parent/school-assigned aliases or ID numbers, and must not use the student's school-issued email address.
Osteoforensics does not require, and does not collect, the submission of Personally Identifiable Information such as home addresses, dates of birth, or full legal names for students utilizing the Program through a school-approved ELO/PBGR/Credit Flexibility//Credit for Proficiency/Flexible Pathway/CRLE.
Payment information (name, billing address, and credit card details) is collected directly by our third-party processor, Stripe. This data is used solely for transaction verification and is maintained separately from the student’s academic profile to ensure maximum data privacy and compliance with student record protection standards.
When the enrolment term expires, your account will be deleted from the system within 30 days of the 160-day access window closing, or immediately upon written request from a parent or school official, unless a specific written request is made by the parent to retain the student’s records.
