Feeding the Human Story

"My father grew up in Germany during World War II. He often told the story of stealing a single potato from a neighbour’s garden because he had not eaten for days."

That story became my compass, grounding me in the belief that healthy nutrition is a fundamental human right — essential for life, health, and dignity.

As someone who studies the human story through the lens of biology, I understand that nutritious meals are directly linked to better memory, attention span, and cognitive function — elements that are critical in early childhood development and lifelong learning.

Combating food insecurity has always been part of our family’s fabric — from donating to food banks and delivering turkeys to local shelters, to baking muffins for our unhoused neighbours.

To continue our family's mission, a portion of all sales from Osteoforensics will be donated to local food banks.
